Maria Oliva Interiors was appointed by Kai Design to work on the interior design of a coffe shop in High Street Kensington.

The design brief from the client was to create a cozy and comfortable spot where to savour daily fresh meals prepared with natural ingredients, work while sipping a Ginseng coffee or hide away from one of the busiest street in London.

Fitaly aims to make food inspired by ‘la cucina povera’ from the Abruzzo region in central Italy, with the modern approach of a gluten-free and vegan cuisine.

The interior design reflects the simplicity behind Fitaly recipes: clean eating in the most natural form. A light colour palette and few materials like timber flooring, terrazzo tiles, cork and white walls, make the space welcoming and comforting.

The counter plays a key role as display area and for ordering food to take away. A white metal structure frames the counter on both side and white ceramic pendants hang from the ceiling, illuminating the bamboo worktop. The front is made of white and green terrazzo tiles hold together with a sleek copper trim.
